Much of Thailand is well developed, however, there are a of marginalised groups such as children of migrant workers and stateless people who our work is focused on. We work predominantly in Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai and Mae Sot, however, we also work in the greater Bangkok area and in the south eastern part of Thailand. Due to poverty and poor household economic conditions, Cambodian children and youth have the highest risk for ending up in exploitive work situations and not to attend school.

More and more businesses are taking steps to tackle forced labour and human trafficking in the recruitment of workers to enhance social responsibility and sustainable development and to mitigate risks that can affect their own reputations. This report compiles summaries and case studies of the key practices in responsible recruitment adopted by the large companies, as well as civil society organisations. Our key areas of work include: Gender justice and women's empowerment: Strengthening the participation and leadership capacity of girls and women so they can make informed decisions about their lives and reach their potential.

Children on the move: Ensuring migrant children can exercise their rights to education, health care and protection. Legal status and citizenship: Helping stateless people, particularly girls, to exercise their rights and access services so they can achieve a better quality of life. All case studies. All publications. Vulnerability, impacts and adaptation in Northern Thailand. Where we work. Our Address. Klongtoey Nua. CO plan-international.
